leo-farrellyLeo Farrelly is a highly experienced, fully accredited and respected trainer in MSP, PRINCE and P3O with 10 years experience in these methods. During this time Leo led the development of a major Accredited Training Organisation in the PRINCE2 and MSP market in Australia. He has training experience in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Canada and has worked in developing staff from wide variety of industries including manufacturing, transportation, telecommunications, IT and Communications, health care, police and emergency services, as well as in Federal and State government agencies in the areas of defence, housing, social services and IT.Leo is passionate about demonstrating the value that organisations of all sizes can gain from the use of the MSP, P3O and PRINCE2 methods. He has a particular talent as a trainer and facilitator to explain and demonstrate the practical application of these methods to senior executives as well as programme and project staff members.

His advice and insight is based on a long career working in a variety of industries. As an engineering officer in the Navy he gained experience in electrical, weapons and communications systems and he developed a continuing interest in maintenance and logistics engineering and in project management.

After leaving the Navy he worked for a number of years on the new Australian Parliament House project before joining Siemens for nine years developing major proposals for long-range radio communication networks, air traffic control and air defence systems. During this time he gained valuable insight and experience into the complexity and challenges that such projects pose to both the customer and the vendor organisations.

His next appointment was with a specialist ICT company in Canberra engaged in communications systems engineering and the R&D of small UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles). As Head of the Programme and Project Management practice, and manager of the Project Management Services business unit, Leo led the development of the programme and project management consultancy and training business unit.
